DASH in Life 5K Run/Walk & Stroll of Hope and Healing

Join us in honoring local Veterans at the D.A.S.H. in Life 5K & Stroll of Hope and Healing on Saturday, November 7, at 7:30 a.m., at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center, 400 S. Sykes Creek Parkway, on Merritt Island. 5K Run/Walk begins at 7:30 a.m. Special Veteran Recognition and Pinning begins at 9:00 a.m. Stroll of Hope & Healing begins at 9:30 a.m. This event is open to all ages. There is no cost to attend. $25 donation to reserve a sign with your loved one’s name. The Stroll of Hope and Healing honors deployed service members, and remembers all those we have lost who live on in our hearts. Stroll the peaceful path around the park at your own pace. Register to add your loved one’s name to a sign that will line the path. Service animals are the only pets permitted. Strollers are welcome. The DASH in Life 5K & Stroll of Hope and Healing supports St. Francis Hospice’s Veterans program, providing specialized care to veterans and their families, ensuring they receive the comfort, honor and support they deserve during life’s final stages. Join us in the park for Veteran Resources and Recognition; Youth Zone with children’s activities such as painting and games; Food Trucks; Entertainment; Patriotic music; raffle items and awards; and special guests.
